Shuvee Etrata Hairstyles Dale Mallari

<p>Just in case you missed the PSA, <strong>Shuvee Etrata</strong> is the beauty muse to watch. The beauty chameleon can not only pull off both soft and sultry makeup looks but that versatility also translates to her hair looks. </p><p>Together with her trusted hairstylist, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/dalemallari_" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Dale Mallari</strong></a>, the duo have been coming out with banger after banger hairstyles that definitely make us stop mid-scroll. But more than just looking good in these looks, according to Dale, Shuvee is also very much involved in the creative process. He had this to say about working with the breakout star, “Shuvee is a really collaborative artist. She sees to it that everything is cohesive.”</p><p>Needless to say, Shuvee’s hair looks are cop-worthy. So, copy we shall! </p><p>But in true Metro fashion, we, of course, had to get the step-by-step from the hair expert himself. Below, Dale gives us the lowdown on how to re-create three different but equally iconic Shuvee looks: silky straight hair, a messy updo, and mermaid curls. Bonus: he even includes some of the actual products he used to achieve them!</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>1. Messy Muse</strong></div><p>One of my favorite hairstyles I’ve done on Shuvee is the messy updo. I wanted to highlight her beautiful facial features with a soft, relaxed style. I begin by curling her hair using a T3 Micro 1.5-inch Curling Iron, alternating the direction of each section to create an effortless, natural-looking texture. To enhance the undone, effortless feel, I gently pull out a few tendrils from the bun, creating a deliberately tousled finish— sealed everything using <strong>Betterhair</strong> Ready Airset Go Flexspray (Shop <a href="https://shop.tiktok.com/ph/pdp/1733292793637012966" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>).</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>2. Silky Straight Siren</strong></div><p>I’ve noticed that Shuvee’s go-to hairstyle is big, voluminous, and glamorous hair. I apply it from roots to ends while the hair is still damp, making sure it is evenly distributed before blow-drying on the Dyson’s maximum heat setting. Once the hair is completely dry, I use the <strong>GHD</strong> Chronos Max Flat Iron (Shop <a href="https://www.ghdhair.com/hair-straighteners/ghd-chronos-max-black-styler-p-689" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>) to create a smooth, ultra-sleek finish with a silky shine. To tame the baby hair on the parting area, I lather Betterhair wax and polish it using boarbristle brush.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>3. Wavy Baby</strong></div><p>Crimped hair captures an easy, island-girl vibe—relaxed and effortlessly stylish. It’s also one of the simplest looks to achieve.
