Editor's Pick: Aesop Othertopias Fragrances

Meet three new fragrances that will surely make their way into your dresser pretty soon. Aesop, the global skincare and body care brand has just launched its newest addition to its fragrance portfolio—Othertopias. The eau de parfum fragrances were developed with long-term collaborator Barnabé  Fillion, and include three new scents: Miraceti, Karst, and Erémia. 

" Unorthodox in nature, the collection is inspired by the juxtapositions found in certain spaces— environments that blur the boundaries of past and present, real and unreal, here and there." The Othertopias collection inspires imagination, based on one's unique experiences, dreams, and memories.

‘These liminal spaces, these worlds within worlds, have been a fount for artists, thinkers and wordsmiths such as Tarkovsky, Bachelard and Melville,’ says Suzanne Santos, Aesop’s Chief Customer Officer. ‘Why? Because they spark the senses. They make us engage, ask us to look differently, and, ultimately, encourage us to imagine, which is what we seek in every interaction at Aesop.’

The Miraceti is a warm, resinous fragrance with peppery, herbal notes underpinned by woody, earthy accords that evoke a hint of the sea and musk. Karst, on the other hand, is a moody yet fresh fragrance reminiscent of cliffside vegetation and the seashore, with mineral top notes and stormy, metallic base accords. Erémia is a vibrant and fresh fragrance with bright, citrus opening notes that prelude waxy florals, powdery musk, and concrete after the rain.
