Earlier this week, Vaseline brought the power of Gluta-Hya to life through this groundbreaking event that highlighted the Vaseline Skin Science Studio. White Space was transformed into a white wonderland full of chic and gorgeous ladies in white cocktail dresses amidst blooms of hyacinths and baby's breath flowers. We heard experts talk about the science and innovation behind the new Vaseline Gluta-Hya, toured around the space, touched the interactive exhibits, and got to know the product better through demos. We were in for a treat!

It was truly an immersive experience because we went deep into the science of the Gluta-Hya, but instead of getting information overload, we developed a sensorial and emotional connection to the products by way of sight and touch.

Host Aiyana Perlas kicked off the event with high energy, reminding the audience that it was Vaseline's first big event in a while. Then she introduced the Unilever and Vaseline team, who welcomed the guests.

“[Vaseline] continuously evolved through time by always listening to its consumers, always innovating, and always elevating itself versus its previous form,” explains Ica Velarde, Vaseline Hand and Body Lotion Senior Assistant Brand Manager as she took the audience through a quick history tour of Vaseline. At the pinnacle of Vaseline’s timeline is the Gluta-Hya.

“This is Vaseline's first serum burst lotion, it's our breakthrough formulation, it's one of the best lotions in our portfolio and we're very happy to share it with everyone today,” adds Ica.

This innovation continues with the Skin Science Studio event which redefined the way we look at skincare as it focused on the science behind the products–this time, with the ingredients in focus. And with the young set of influencers who were in attendance, we couldn’t help but think that it’s inspiring a new generation to embrace the power of science and beauty for our best skin yet.

Deep nourishment and hydration minus the sticky feeling

The Vaseline Gluta-Hya it’s not your typical lotion. It makes use of a powerful formula packed with superior ingredients including Glutaglow and hyaluronic acid, which work together with the serum burst texture for a lightweight lotion that delivers deep hydration and dewy glow.

Vaseline brought the power of Gluta-Hya to life through experience zones that referenced the different ingredients of Gluta-Hya. These rooms used textures, lights, and sounds, as well as art, to define the ingredients from a sensorial standpoint.

We had the Gluta Glow Studio, with highlighted the lotion’s brightening powers with vibrant pink projections; the Hyaluron Studio, with mesmerizing blue droplets that signified the lotion’s hydrating effects; and Serum Burst Studio, with iridescent digital art to showcase the lotion’s light-weight texture; and the Amino-Peptide Complex Studio, with shimmering projects in-line with the promise of bright and plump skin overnight.

Let’s go through the rooms one by one. The Gluta Glow Studio is a pink room inspired by the Glutaglow ingredient. This is a revolutionary patented Unilever technology that renders 10x more power than vitamin C, and it helps brighten and even out skin tone, to leave it looking radiant and glowing.

Guests flocked to this dreamy room that was filled with transparent balloons that reflected the pinkish glow of the room. There was visible happiness in the air as the guests smiled as they lifted some balloons.

The blue room or the Hyaluron Studio makes use of blue wavy drapes that represent the Hyaluronic acid ingredient and has projections of blue droplets. This second key ingredient in Vaseline Gluta-Hya is a powerful moisturizer that can hold up to 1000 times its weight in weather, providing deep hydration to the skin. The blue drapes are picture-perfect for video producers.

Then there’s the Serum Burst Studio with iridescent digital art coupled with hanging crystal elements in the room, linked to the serum burst texture of Vaseline Gluta-Hya. This represents the lightweight sensorial that doesn’t leave a sticky feeling but instead delivers a serum burst texture that feels weightless and refreshing on the skin, making it perfect for everyday use.

And finally, the Amino-Peptide Complex Studio used hanging, golden décor representing the 10x amino-peptide complex in Vaseline Gluta-Hya. This special ingredient can give overnight radiance repair, which you’ll notice right away. You’ll get plump, bright skin, overnight!
