Beauty Girls, Find Out How You Can Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Donate, engage on social media, and shop!
October is always an eventful month in the sense that it tackles a lot of causes that pertain to wellness—from World Mental Health Day, to World Menopause Month, to the pinkest cause out there—Breast Cancer Awareness! Knowledge and awareness truly are key for these health concerns, and the more we know, the more we can do to help eventually lessen and eliminate it.
Organizations and brands come together on this month to promote the cause, to help create a breast cancer-free world. Among the many brands that regularly does so is beauty giant Estée Lauder Companies, which has The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, founded in 1992 by the late Evelyn H. Lauder. The campaign has thus far raised more than $99 million to support global research, education, and medical services, with more than $80 million funding 321 medical research grants through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
#TimeToEndBreastCancer
This year, The Estée Lauder Companies remains true to its commitment to promote initiatives that strive to end breast cancer for all, tirelessly raising awareness, driving progress, and ultimately help find a cure for this disease through the advancements of research, education, and medical services.
Interested in taking part in this worthy cause? You can! Apart from donations, you can take to social media and do your part! This year, you can help raise funds for BCRF by:
- Grab your favorite pink lipstick;
- Draw a ribbon and share your story;
- Tag five people to do the same.
Whether you’re a patient, family or friend, thriver, doctor, or advocate. Breast cancer does not have a single story, yet it draws us all together. Share what it means to you to help those impacted by this disease and help us end breast cancer for all.
For every public, in-feed Instagram or Facebook post during the month of October featuring both #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #ELCdonates together, The Estée Lauder Companies will donate $25 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation up to $150,000.
What's more is that beauty girls like you and me can shop from Estée Lauder's group of brands that offer pink ribbon specials, as seen in the gallery below:
