Harry Styles Launches 'Pleasing', His First Venture Into Beauty

There has been buzz about Harry Styles creating a beauty line a few months ago, but we didn't really know if it was going to be a skincare line, a makeup line, if it would be called 'Harry Styles Beauty', or whatnot. Fast forward to today, we're finally in the know, as Pleasing has finally made its public debut. 

Based on the brand's Instagram account alone, it appears that the brand is going to be an inclusive beauty line spanning not just skincare or makeup, but nail care as well. If you know Harry Styles well, you know he's the guy to appreciate painted fingernails. It only makes sense for him to come out with his own line. 

To ring in the festivities, Harry Styles appears on the latest cover of DAZED Magazine, clad in signature gender-bending fashion. It's also in this issue that he tells everyone about Pleasing, and his views on beauty. In an Instagram post by DAZED, Harry shares, “I don’t think being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about looking good. When people are happy and glowing, they’re radiating. And that’s what I think the products do, it’s about helping you feel beautiful.”

And if we're being honest, it's the little things in our beauty cabinet that truly help make us feel beautiful. Rarely is it a 10-step skincare line, or a thick, full face of makeup. It's that trusty moisturizer you've been using for five years now, or that favorite shade of red lipstick you keep going back to, or in Pleasing's case, it's a beautiful nail polish shade that gives you an extra boost. 

What better way to launch his first beauty line than by releasing a nail polish collection? We've long been fans of Harry's love for nail paint, and to see his own just excites us even more! The first collection, dubbed 'Perfect Pearl', is now available for pre-order in limited quantities. They come in beautiful collectible bottles, and are free from the dreaded 12 harmful chemicals.

The four shades come in either glossy or matte, and can be layered to make your own look. Apart from the nail polish, Pleasing has also launched its first two skincare products: the The Pleasing Pen, a dual-ended potent eye and lip serum, delivered through cooling steel rollers, and The Pearlescent Illuminating Serum, a moisturizing product that gives skin hydration and illumination, with unique pearls that dissolve into a transparent, glossy formula.
