This Favorite Filipino Beauty Brand Celebrates 15 Glowing Years
Human Nature marks its anniversary by continuously giving back
Human Nature just turned 15 years old in the industry! It is testament to their success in reinventing the beauty market as they prove one can balance advocacy and profit, champion social responsibility with products that don’t just perform well but also contribute to the local economy at a grassroots level.
The 15-year celebration, tagged as “Beyond the Glow,” happened at Odd Cafe in Makati. Servings of coffee or Oddchata paried with other treats from Poke Bubs, Papa Diddi’s Handcrafted Ice Cream, Pure Nectar, and Manila Cookie Story.
A program hosted by Mica Pineda featured the insights of Human Nature research & development manager Kirsty Lenon with founders Camille Meloto-Rodriguez and Anna Meloto-Wilk. They reflected on the milestones of Human Nature, shared how they weathered through trying times, and adjusted to the demands of social media. The panel discussion served as a re-evaluation and re-commitment of Human Nature to their core advocacies: pro-Philippines, pro-poor and pro-environment.
Anna shares, “Fifteen years ago, we started with a dream of introducing the promise of beauty that is kind to the skin, local communities, and planet. Today, we are the pioneer local brand in the country to come up with a full range of natural and clean beauty and personal care innovations made by Filipinos for Filipinos. We are where we are today because of our fellow Filipinos who believe in us. So in this milestone event, it’s you whom we celebrate!”
Continuing on the celebration, the program put a spotlight on their newest products : Hyaluronic Acid Gel Day Moisturizer, Hyaluronic Face Mist, Ceramide Skin-Renewing Night Cream, Sunflower Beauty Oil with Bakuchiol, and Vitamin C + Hya Calamansi Radiance Serum.
These launches, like everything else in Human Nature’s product range, are manufactured 100 percent locally, with the expertise of Filipino scientists. They are formulated with an appetite for natural, biodegradable innovation that encourages customers to #SwitchtoGoodness.
On top of that, Human Nature presents limited edition design packaging that showcases the Filipina’s beauty that glows from within. You will spot the Cubism-inspired print on Human Nature’s different staple products such as the Natural Shampoo, Natural Sanitizer, and Natural Sunflower Premium Beauty Oil.
Founded in 2007, Human Nature’s story proves the beauty is more than what meets the eye. Every product debut is partnered with a program or mission to further Filipino livelihood and raise awareness about the bounty of the Philippines.
Today, Human Nature enjoys both online and offline support with branches across major malls in the country, memberships, and a strong US-based clientele.
