It lathers quite a bit, but does not entirely bubble up like you’d expect a creamy or foamy cleanser to. Be sure to store it in a proper soap dish with drainage, as it tends to melt in a watery soap basin with no holes.</p><div><br/></div><p>Full confession: I’ve been suffering from maskne way worse than I did in the past years of the pandemic. For some reason, I suppose, I am experiencing this because I have been wearing way more makeup than I used to, as I have been out attending events for work, socializing with friends and family and everything in between. The weather hasn’t been exactly pleasant, so the humidity inside my mask makes it the perfect environment for breakouts to occur.Much to my dismay, while the breakouts go away, they do leave unsightly dark spots for me to deal with long after the zits are gone. Good thing I am armed with this bar soap which has been a great deal of help in lightening my acne marks.</p><div><br/></div><p>On the other hand, having had some beach trips in the past couple of months left tan lines and bathing suit marks on my shoulders, which I do want to even out. Formulated to be easily absorbed by the skin, the lotion also has UVA/UVB filters to help block UV radiation from the sun, which is one of the main causes of skin darkening. Using this daily will protect and maintain any progress you’ve made on your skin. I am quite diligent in applying moisturizer during my skincare routines, so this wasn’t such a low point for me. They do have the Hydromoist variant, which gives that extra dose of moisture skin needs after a good cleansing session. The lotion is easy to apply and is easily absorbed, and has a light, fresh fragrance that’s not too overpowering. Before I forget, I never forget to slather on sunblock whenever I use kojic acid to cleanse my skin, as I do not want to regret any unwanted redness or sunburn. Word of advice: don’t skip sunblock even if you’re not using kojic acid!
