Apart from that, prominent figures such as Lil Kim, Flo-Jo, Missy, and Sha’Carri also became the influencers of his endearment with the craft. Likewise, Marc acknowledged where the cultural artistry came from. Originated in the 50s, this intensive chore mosaic-design manicure was quickly adopted by black women, encompassing both femininity and style within their culture, and later popularized by the figures mentioned above. Marc promptly commemorated the historic acrylic overlays, saying, “So here, not only do I give thanks to my nail techs, artists, and fellow long nail lovers, I also give credit and pay homage to the fabulous black women who fearlessly, proudly, and creatively paved the way.
