Check Out Scenes From the Race Off to Beauty Event

The 12th season of the much-awaited annual event hosted a new era of excitement–merging glamor and speed at the country’s biggest beauty event!

With one of the most anticipated annual events capping off another great year, Rustan’s Beauty Addict: Race Off to Beauty really pulled out all the stops in celebration of their 12th season!

Rustan’s The Beauty Source went full throttle with this year’s Beauty Addict event with a racing-inspired event that gathered top content creators, industry experts, and beauty enthusiasts for an afternoon of fun and discounted retail therapy. This is Rustan’s 12th beauty con and it was filled with exciting activities from beauty, fashion, women empowerment talks, and fun games.

It was a full on experience from start to end! From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed by a stop-to-take-a-pic-worthy customized Rustan's The Beauty Source race car from Tuason Racing at the entrance of the Courtyard Drive. From there, lots of brands had fun games and freebies. There were also major discounts on everyone’s favorite beauty and fashion brands.

The beauty event was graced by R’Bonney Gabriel Nola, Kylie Verzosa, Nicole Andersson, Kerwin King, Patch Magtanong-Cordoves, Jason Delos Reyes, Issa Pressman, Jeline Catt, Danica Ontengco, Nicole Go, Jach Manere, Jelly Eugenio–among many others. They joined the adrenaline pumping celebration where they navigated a course complete with “pit stops”, dressed-up counters of participating Rustan’s Beauty brands offering fun activities, mesmerizing displays, and premium products. As guests made their way along the track,  the country’s hottest hip-hop DJs, DJ Miaow and DJ Nix Damn P, spun beats that had people dancing until sundown.

An Afternoon of Adrenaline

The event wasn’t only about great deals and mini games too! It also featured a high-stakes game that covered the whole Rustan’s store. 

Three pairs took on the challenge to compete for the top prize with Beauty Addict’s own version of The Amazing Race–”Beauty on the Fast Track Challenge”. Coming out on top were Jeline Catt and Jeanette Ong who won the race and took home the grand prize. 

The F1-themed event also had thrill-seeking guests feel the rush of Formula 1 as they took on the “Fast and Fabulous Challenge" in Tuason Racing's racing simulator where participants had a chance to experience being behind the wheel of a racing car for a chance to win special beauty prizes. 

Beauty and Style Talks

And of course, a Rustan’s event would not be complete without beauty and fashion talks on the main stage with industry experts and prominent personalities. Jeanette Ipapo-Tuason, founder and CEO of Tuason Racing, kicked off the talks by sharing insights on self-empowerment and maintaining grace under pressure. Then followed by “Formula 1 Fashion”, a styling masterclass from styling duo Roshni Mirpuri and Siya Daryani from The Closet Culture on how to style activewear as daily wear, featuring brands from Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Champion, Ray-ban, Gucci Eyewear, Saint Laurent Eyewear, and Tom Ford Eyewear. 

Dr. Rodnie Valerio of Belo Medical Group segued the audience to beauty talks with “Speedway Shine”, a skincare talk that tackled topics like “The Science Behind Skin Aging” and “Proactive Steps to Slow Down Skin Aging”.  Lastly, local celebrity make-up artists, RB Chanco and Justin Soriano with muse, Tamara Pineda, led the makeup masterclass “Grand Prix Glam” co-presented by Laura Mercier. 

The Race is Still On: Beauty Addict Promos to Watch Out For
