Curly and wavy-haired people, listen up. Your time is now. Cantu Beauty is now officially in The Philippines.

The press launch of Cantu Beauty featured Jasmine Baker of Cutz and Curlz by Jazz—the first and exclusive salon for curly clientele. She also did a live demo on how to use the products, in order to achieve healthy, bouncy curls. 

“For the past few years, we have received many requests from Filipinos like, ‘Where can we get your products?’ We also found that many people buy Cantu into order to repack and resell, and we wanted to make sure that instead Cantu fans get quality and fresh product,” shares David Schneider,  APAC director of Cantu Beauty. Cantu Beauty is part of the top requests for that legendary balikbayan box and pasabuy lists. 

Schneider notes that for those who have yet acquaint themselves with Cantu to try first the Natural line and to slowly adopt to your preferred style and particular hair care need. “But the biggest attraction is the Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream. People want to enhance their curls and this can be used on different hair types. It’s very easy to use and to understand what it can do so you can play with your hair.”

Cantu Beauty initially brings in 20 core products to our market. “One thing with Cantu is that we also have kids. We are excited about that,” says Joana Atienza, general manager of Nyne Beauty Inc.—the distribution company responsible for bringing in Cantu Beauty to the country.  

Other Cantu products to note are the Sulfate-Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo, Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner, Oil Sheen Deep Conditioning Spray, and the Wave Whip Curling Mousse. 

 “One thing we also noticed is how people who buy Cantu from resellers are paying almost double the price for the product. We want to make sure Cantu is within their reach and they are buying it at the right price point for the Philippine market,” notes Atienza.
