After all, a ribbon in your hair is the kind of accessory that can give a completely different twist to any regular look. It can be used in many ways, and you can get creative, depending on your choice of design, color, thickness and kind of fabric.
Celebs and our fellow hair obsessed are surprising us, though, taking their ribbons from luxury brands Chanel, Dior, and Chloe shopping bags and repurposing them for hairstyles by weaving them into braids and using them to top off their updos, buns, and low ponytails.
According to celebrity hairstylist Mark Anthony Rosales, who just did Liza’s chic ponytail with a Chanel hair ribbon, “Ribbon accessories are one of the biggest trends this holiday season, and with the luxury designer ribbons factor, it makes hair look extra fancy and fabulous!”
