Dove Brings 100 Filipinas Together for Its First-Ever Billboard Comunity Shoot

Styling Without Worries

Held on September 10, 2024 at Khozy Lounge in Makati City, Dove has launched its newest Hya+Ceramide Treatment Mask for its latest campaign: Complete the Care. “The inspiration behind this campaign is that we found out that only one out of two women use a treatment mask to repair their damaged hair and not a lot of them know that true repair happens when you use a treatment mask,” says Maia Coronel, Assistant Brand Manager for Dove Hair Philippines.

Coronel explains that this treatment mask was designed to reverse the 10 signs of hair damage, from the minor inconvenience of frizz to more severe concerns like dryness and breakage. This product was carefully developed by Dove’s expert team.

According to Dove Philippines’ R&D Product Development Lead Anna Tongco-Elevazo, one of the key ingredients in this breakthrough formula is hyaluron, an ingredient many women are familiar with from skincare. Known for drawing moisture into the skin, hyaluron works similarly for hair, helping to seal in moisture and nutrients. Combined with ceramides, which strengthen the hair’s structure, this treatment mask doesn’t just fix surface-level damage; it repairs from within, giving hair the strength and resilience it needs.

Dove’s team tested the Hya+Ceramide Hair Treatment Mask through rigorous technical evaluations, using advanced instruments to measure smoothness, strength, and repair. Beyond the lab, they also turned to real women, listening to feedback about how traditional hair masks can feel heavy. In response, Dove designed this mask to deliver deep nourishment while keeping the hair light and touchable—making it perfect for everyday use.
