#MetroBeautyWatch: All Of Singer/Actress IU's Coolest Hairstyles

Lee Ji-eun, better known as IU, has been making her mark in South Korean showbiz and beyond ever since she was 15. Now at 26, the angel-faced singer/songwriter/actress shows no sign of slowing down, with an exciting lineup of projects ahead.

Apart from being one of South Korea's chart-topping singers, she is also known for her roles in K-Drama hits like 'The Producers', 'Persona', 'Hotel del Luna', and a host of films too. The pretty young thing even sang a song in K-Drama hit 'Crash Landing on You's original soundtrack called "Give You My Heart." 

Apart from our favorite Son Ye-jin being nominated for Best Actress at the 56th Baeksang Art Awards, IU presents some competition for Crash Landing on You's Yoon Se-ri, as she is also nominated in the same category, for her role as Jang Man-wol in romantic comedy 'Hotel del Luna'.

Things are coming up roses for IU, as she is currently working on a movie with another K-Drama heavyweight Park Seo-Joon. Fans can't hardly wait for this tandem to happen! All through her career, she isn't just known for her stellar talent in singing and acting—a lot has also been said about her ever-changing hairstyles! 

According to Koreaboo, IU has drastically changed her hairstyle completely for a total of eight times since she started in the biz. This, of course, does not yet include the subtle changes has done with hairdos, hair accessories, and the like. We'd say it's definitely more than eight times, as one scroll through her Instagram feed immediately guarantees a visual feast for beauty lovers like ourselves. 

In true South Korean fashion, transforming through hairstyles is something IU uses to her advantage. From being blonde, to rocking jet black, blue and purple hair, to all the high and low updos in between, IU is our beauty icon to watch.
