Adding Colors To the Drama

Long live eye-catching bold lips, high-pigment hues and swashes of makeup for fall!

While the last few seasons have been dominated by minimal, no-makeup makeup looks, the beauty trends this season is making a 180-degree turn towards the absolute opposite: More colors and bolder statements.

We see the triumphant return of in-your-face liners, and pleasant combinations of eye-catching pastels, lilacs, and turquoises. Play up the Barbie girl looks with crystal-studded silver stars just beneath the eyes, bright blue eyeliner and a bright fuchsia pout.

Explore a myriad of colors, including eggplant/aubergine, turquoise, and orange a la Nevada’s Burning Man. Painterly and graphic colored swipes, whether you go for a number of colors or just one splash of color across the eyelids, like the signature Pat McGrath cat-eyes, are truly the beauty revelations of the Fall/Winter festivities.
