Heads up veggie fans—Milk Makeup has officially gone vegan! Milk Makeup has always been one of the coolest brands out there in the market since its beginnings in 2016, and since then, this indie brand quickly made its mark in the beauty scene for its sleek, simple packaging, gorgeous illuminating sticks, and commitment to clean beauty.

Moreover, the fact that their commitment to creating friendlier to the earth; friendlier to the skin product line has gone a bigger step further makes us admire them even more. In a statement to Pop Sugar, this fan-favorite beauty brand’s co-founder and COO Dianna Ruth shared the details about Milk Makeup’s exciting transition, saying: “While we’ve always been a majority-vegan line, the shift to 100% vegan is important to us because using animal by-product is an unnecessary practice. There is no animal product or byproduct that doesn’t have a safe natural or synthetic alternative.”

In addition, the brand also stresses that this change will not affect the quality and effectiveness of their products. With that said, sadly, a few of their products were unable to be swapped into fully vegan, and are now removed from the site including the Glitter Stick, Eye Vinyl, Lip Salve, and Eye Pigment.
