Get Belle Mariano's Beauty Look On The Metro Cover
It's time to take makeup risks again!
The second season of hit show 'He's Into Her' is in full swing, and we have a confession to make: we're so into Belle Mariano! The beautiful 19-year-old stunner never fails to inspire us with her charm and beauty, and in her latest cover for METRO with leading man Donny Pangilinan, we've got to say—we're totally in love!
And because we can't let the opportunity pass, we spoke to Belle's go-to makeup artist Jake Galvez, and asked him about how we, too can cop the super cool makeup look. Keep reading!
Metro.Style: How would you describe the look? What are the key trends you went for?
Jake Galvez: This look is inspired from the bold, whimsical looks of 'Euphoria' the TV show. A playful combination of colors, glitters and star accents. The key trend for this look is the neon graphic eyeliner, which is the makeup trend of the moment.
MS: What are other ways of executing this/these trends?
JG: Simply sketch out the eyeliner shape with a neon color liner or paint of your choice using a pointed liner brush. You may use a neon eyeshadow, just make sure to wet the brush before application. On Belle, I applied it on the inner corners of the eyes and outer corner as a winged liner.
MS: What are the key products needed to achieve this look?
JG: For this look, it's all about the eyes. You'll be needing a colored liners. My favorites are Makeup Forever's Aqua Color Paint and Liners. And to make the eyes pop, add layers of individual eyelashes. On Belle, I used Lash Clusters in Fish Tail style from @luxebeautyph.
