Last night was a special occasion for the Philippine fashion industry: The #TernoCon2020 paid tribute to our beloved Terno, as we rediscovered the dress, the materials, the evolution, the design, and the nation. According to @benchtm, "Today's the day we bring back our love and passion for the Philippine Terno as the fitting symbol of the creative craft and cultural heritage that binds Filipinos together."
Celebrities and personalities stepped out to showcase the beloved iconic dress, in various awe-inspiring interpretations made by some of the country's top designers. A-listers like Liza Soberano, Bea Alonzo, and Kim Chiu made a splash in show-stopping numbers, while a handful chose to go the edgy, risky route, giving the classic a taste of modernity.
We have to admit though, that apart from all the statement-worthy ensembles, the hair and makeup looks played a crucial part in completing the package. Decked in red carpet garb, the celebrities shone bright in updos, romantic waves, trendy eye makeup, and more.
