There is no denying that BINI’s Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena embody the diversity of Filipina beauty, and the best looks of their career so far further proved this as they took over the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City with BINIverse: The First Solo Concert.

From the winning ensembles by Visual Director Ica Villanueva to the disarming beauty looks by makeup artists Julius Cabanisas, Carell Garcia, Theresa Padin, Angeline Tan, with their hairstylists Cristine Benoman and July Vito, BINI was absolutely “Born to Win” with their sold-out series of shows.

BINIverse: The First Solo Concert Pat Buenaobra

Metro.Style sat down with Julius a few days before the concert to find out a few backstage secrets. The professional makeup artist and content creator who has worked with the Nation’s Girl Group since their “Born to Win” era reveals, “The glam team makes sure that every member’s beauty always shines. We really want the girls to look their best.”

He also teased us that the looks were all about “glitter and glow,” and BINI definitely sparkled! “As much as possible, we want their looks to always be different from other looks we’ve done,” Julius says. But one thing is sure, it’s all about Pinay pop beauty.

BINI Colet - Green, Colet’s official BINI color, was very subtly incorporated into her eye makeup—from her olive contact lenses to her smokey green eye shadow, framed by cat-eye lashes. BINI Gwen - Gwen’s BINI color orange was also very subtly woven into her look through her hair—the blunt bangs and bob say it all! You can’t help but notice her double-winged and inner-eye eyeliner. The low-key gradient on her lips is also a beautiful detail that is sure to catch your attention.@juliuscmua

BINI Stacey - The princess of the group was powerful in her BINI color with an all-pink and glittered palette—from her eyes to her cheeks to her lips. The cat eyeliner is also the perfect pop to Stacey’s chinita eyes and the blush on the higher points of her cheekbone frame her face so beautifully. @juliuscmua

BINI Jhoanna - What immediately catches your eye with Jhoanna’s look are the manga-inspired lashes and the pink-purple hues of her overall palette. BINI Sheena - Sheena, although the youngest of the group, pulled out her sweetest yet fiercest with her mauve-pink palette and glowing pink highlighter, topped off with double-winged eyeliner and glam eyelashes. BINI Mikha - Another Japanese beauty-inspired look, Mikha’s BINI color red has been her signature hair color for a while; but the hime cut she sported in this look further elevated the fiery red palette of her makeup, not to mention the touches of pink blush and highlighter on her cheeks.
