<p>To say that <strong>BYS Fashion Week</strong> was a feast for the senses is an understatement. Four days, nine designers, and six venues made for a breakthrough in the Philippine fashion scene. Filipino talent was once again celebrated via multi-faceted collections lauded by countless fashion fans in the local scene. In charge of this year&#x27;s beauty direction for the shows was <strong>Gery Penaso</strong>, a professional makeup artist who has years of experience in celebrity and show makeup. We <a href="https://metro.style/beauty/makeup/bys-fashion-week-2023-gery-penaso-metro-talks/36393" target="_blank">caught up with him</a> before the shows to ask about what to expect from this year&#x27;s runway makeup looks. He shared that while the designers had free rein on the looks they wanted for their collections, ultimately it&#x27;s the BYS products that helped bring these amazing looks to
