Layer on sunscreen and UV protection.

This summer season, you always have to make sure you're properly protected from the sun—and that means wearing sunscreen every single day, even under your makeup. “Mas importante talaga siya for me than foundation lalo na ‘pag summer. Kung oily ka, try gel based moisturizers, that’s works better than the cream based ones," he says..

Invest in a good primer.

You won’t regret the few seconds it takes to apply primer, which goes on before the face makeup because of the long-lasting effect that it will give you the whole day. “A good primer works really well especially during the hot days. I recommend a primer na oil-free.”

Refrain from using radiant and cream foundations. 

For the hot season, instead of using radiant and cream foundations, opt for ones with sheer and light coverage like BB and CC creams, and tinted moisturizers. “Shy away muna tayo ‘dun kasi this summer, naturally na lalabas ‘yung oil. So eventually, magsha-shine ka talaga.”
