Meanwhile, Angela Bassett turned up with her "lioness" hair, as Lady Gaga opted for her go-to Old Hollywood glamour look. But it was "Shameless" star Emmy Rossum, with a severe updo and vampy dark lips, that reigned supreme as one of the prettiest beauty looks of the night.

We often see Emmy Rossum embracing her long waves and light-colored lips. But this time around, she opts for a tight updo that pulls back into both a high and low bun. She then finishes it off with a super-dark Burgundy lipstick. We could really get used to this sleek, chic new look!

The trend: Sparkly eye makeup and radiant skin

More red lips and tendrils—we’re sensing a new trend! Hairstylist John D. Set created Olivia Muni’s half-up, loose waves with Tresemme hairspray, while celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta created her stunning look with almost entirely Shiseido products, like their Modern Matte Lipstick and Whipped Powder Brush.
