These Hermès Beauty Lipsticks Are Refillable!

Nothing excites us quite like the idea of a new lipstick! Women would agree that apart from shoes and bags, collecting a bevy of lip colors is one of those things we can never get enough of! 

And imagine our excitement upon finding out that Hermès Beauty has finally landed on our shores! The brand's first venture into beauty debuts with a line of lipsticks, the one product women simply cannot do without! 

“Our approach to beauty is fundamental. It is to reveal and highlight what is naturally there, with elegance, comfort and pleasure. I like the idea of Hermès as an intimate companion, revealing one’s deepest self. Available in 24 (to honor the House of Hermès address in Paris, 24 Rue de Fauborg Saint-Honoré) sophisticated hues, 10 of which are matte, and the rest of which are of a satin finish, these lipsticks are highly pigmented and easy to apply. Easily a shoo-in for anyone's vanity, the lipsticks cater to different skin tones and personalities, so there's no reason not to find your match.

Jérôme Touron, Hermès Beauty's Creative Director shares his inspiration behind the hues, finding direction by going back to the brand's extensive history of color, found in 75,000 hues of silk (for scarves), and 900 leathers. "At Hermès, colour is an irrational, intoxicating passion, a craftsmanship of nuances, an obsession with striking the right tone, and a language all of its own."

One would be amazed to find out that these lipsticks are refillable, meaning its metal case can be used and re-used countless times, making way for sustainability in our beauty routines. 

Designed by renowned shoe designer Pierre Hardy, these bullets are lacquered, brushed and polished metal in black, white or permabrass gold—assembled by hand, these items are made to last, much like any other Hermès creation out there. Hardy shares, "I love the simplicity of pure shapes that colours have the ability to animate. Intuitively, to become timeless, this object had to be able to morph, remain iconic, but stay fluid, be part of a connected sequence, and perpetually recognisable. A constant yet ever-changing object."

Apart from the 24 shades of lipsticks, every season, 3 limited-edition hues will be released, to beauty fans' delight. Accompanying lipsticks are a lip care balm, Poppy lip shine, a universal lip pencil, and a lip brush in lacquered wood. Care for leather accessories to go with your makeup? Leather cases and a moon mirror are also available for the discerning customer. 

The Rouge Hermès collection will be available starting March 4th, 2020 in select Hermès stores and retail outlets in 35 countries, and sold exclusively in Rustan’s Makati.
