A Bronzed, Golden Glow

Forget matte, this season's beauty trends are all about glowing and bronzed skin, shining healthfully with a natural gleam. At Brock Collection, Noon by Noor, Prabal Gurung, and Victoria Beckham, cheekbones and foreheads were highlighted softly, but not with powder highlighters. Makeup artists preferred a touch of liquid or cream luminizer to give a more natural sheen.

Pretty in Pink

Pink was favored as part of the Spring/Summer 2019 makeup trends, specifically in monochromatic looks where pink was used on both eyelids, cheekbones, and lips. It paired well with the princess dresses, florals, tiaras, and tulle that we saw at Brandon Maxwell, Tom Pecheux and Giorgio Armani

All over pink was achieved in this look of Anne Curtis, created by makeup artist Robbie Pinera. Her eyes and lips matched perfectly, and her cheeks complement her fair complexion so well.

Pantone Hair Hues

If there was ever a season to experiment with bold hair color, it’s Spring/Summer 2019! Josh Wood dyed models’ hair a range of pastel hues at Marc Jacobs, choosing shades to match clothes and eye makeup for a truly tonal look.

Orange Lips

We’re loving this unexpected lipstick hue right now! It’s a fresh, summery alternative to classic cherry red that’s also easy to wear and can complement a wide range of skin tones. Be it bright coral, red-orange or sheer tangerine, they are all unapologetically cool and breathe so much life into one's face.
