Meet Issy & Co.’s Skin On The Go 2.0: The Same Skinimalism Effect, But Better

Earlier this year, beauty brand Issy & Co. introduced their offering for the public’s ongoing demand for barely there but enhanced everyday looks. Launching their base makeup line inspired by the concept of ‘skinimalism’, beauty fans were treated to the Active Skin Tint line with six adaptable shades and the Weightless Loose Powder available in three different finishes.

Fast forward to a few months later, their team didn’t sit still throughout all this stay-at-home situation—they formulated an even better version of this collection! “We’re proud to be the brand that offers the most diverse selection of shades,” Issy & Co. co-founder and creative director Joel Andrade says. Thus, releasing the Issy & Co. Skin On The Go 2.0.

“Inclusivity is all about having more people join the conversation,” Joel shares “It’s not just about adding one dark shade to the range and that’s it. The goal is to add more depth. We want this collection to introduce the concept of depth into the vocabulary of the local market’s understanding of what complexion or skin tone is.”

With this in mind, the brand worked on developing their formulation and added some more items to the range. Now, the Active Skin Tint comes in a spectrum of nine—Bisque FN1, Vanille FW1, Sand FO2, Beech FN2, Fawn MO2, Honey MW2, Hazel MW3, Sienna DW4, and Brûlée DO4.

Meanwhile, the Weightless Loose Powder is now available in Radiant, which is all about the glow, having pearlescent particles that give a brilliant complexion. It’s the new addition to its sisters Mattifying, Illuminating, and Translucent powders.

And finally, the newest product from the Skin On The Go 2.0 is the Active Concealer, also available in nine shades. This concealer maintains skin’s water balance thanks to sodium hyaluronate. It also contains other beneficial ingredients, too, like skin-restoring and hydrating glycerin, oil-aborting bentonite clay, and calming and soothing avocado extract.

“Ultimately, we want our base makeup line to be as basic as denim, or even underwear,” the creative director points out. “It’s real skin for real people. It’s not about covering up. It’s your skin—but better.”
