Janine Gutierrez Wore Filipino Makeup Products on the Red Carpet at the Venice Film Festival

This week, Janine Gutierrez proudly represented the Philippines on the global stage when she graced the Venice Film Festival red carpet for her movie Phantosmia. Currently the number one movie on Netflix, the movie showed just how formidable Filipino talent can be and the actress shared that spotlight with fellow Filipino creatives when she wore a custom Inno Sotto and Vania Romoff ensemble at the official photo call and movie premiere, respectively.

But she didn’t stop there! Not only did Janine wear all Filipino designers on the red carpet but she also donned all Filipino beauty products on her face. Anthea Bueno, Janine’s longtime beauty collaborator and one of the most sought-after makeup artists in the country, shared on her TikTok and Instagram how she and the actress’ hairstylist Jay Aquino put Janine’s glam together and how she used Happy Skin, Sunnies Face, ISSY, Absidy, and many more proudly Filipino brands to do Janine’s makeup.
