Rising Filipino singer-songwriter jikamarie made a bold statement as the opening act for British rock band Coldplay's two-night 'Music of the Spheres World Tour' in the Philippines.

With the Philippine Arena looking like 'A Sky Full of Stars' over the weekend, this 23-year-old Warner Music Philippines artist and her makeup artist Chuchie Ledesma went for a vibrant, sparkly makeup style. The look not only complemented jikamarie's multi-hued hair but also suited her age and personality best.

Since entering the local music industry in 2021, jikamarie has established the bold black wingtip as her signature makeup. But for her stint at Coldplay's concert, Chuchie put a playful twist to jikamarie's tried-and-tested style.

Makeup artist Chuchie Ledesma shared with Metro.Style the details of this fun, concert-appropriate makeup look:

What makeup style did you collaborate on with jikamarie?

'Mainly inspired by Harajuku and K-pop makeup styles (she's a huge BTS, Seventeen, and TXT fan!) with bold eye colors and eyelashes, graphic liners, vibrant blush, and glitter freckles. I kept Jika's signature beauty look that consists of the skinny brow, 3-stars and a triangle eye makeup (3 black stars and bold graphic wing-liner) and B&W moles.'

How does this style mirror her personality?

'Her looks for the two-day show definitely reflected her versatility as an artist. She's bubbly and fierce, sugar and spice. She can make you laugh with her funny antics but she can always make you drop down in tears with her soulful songs.'

What are the products you used to achieve this look?

'Courcelles liquid foundation, Courcelles pore primer and serum, Colourpop and MAC eyeshadows, Shu Uemura eyelashes, K-Palette black liquid eyeliner, Kryolan fixing spray, Rom&nd liquid lipsticks, ABH Norvina neon cake liner, Jungsaemmool translucent finishing powder, Chu Chu beauty skinny brow pencil, NARS radiant creamy concealer, Peripera lip liner, and Issy and Co blush.'

As the opening act for Coldplay's Philippine concert, jikamarie performed her original songs 'Kailangan ko ng...,' 'DKSI!,' 'bawi na lang ako sa next life,' 'HINAHANAP-HANAP,' 'aking buwan,' 'Balang Araw,' and 'lutang.'

She recently released her EP title LOVER G!RL. 'I really just wanted to put out something fun and something that anyone can vibe to,' she said of her EP. 'But in terms of the concept and the theme of the EP, it was written from the perspective of someone, myself, and my views of what love is. The standards I set for myself when it comes to dating, the partner that I want, what I believe I deserve in love.'
