When it comes to beauty, Marian Rivera never fails to be on top of our goals list. With a face that dazzles and glows, from then ‘til now, the actress continues to wow us wherever she goes—and her standout visuals remain an inspiration to many.

Further cementing her beauty rep in the industry, the 38-year-old adds a new role under her belt as she now represents Italian beauty brand Kiko Milano as their first local ambassador! Revealed just this month, Marian happily stepped inside the brand’s flagship store in SM Mall Of Asia during the launch and greeted her fans in her always-luminous appearance.

She expressed her delight in this new appointment, admitting that even her makeup artists swear by the brand. The mom of two also said that through his new endorsement, Marian hopes that she will be able to inspire Filipinas to love makeup even more and explore the many possibilities in beauty, just like she did.

Of course, the actress did not leave without sharing some secrets to youthful radiance. Marian notes three important things to remember so you can put your best face forward all day, everyday. Read on!

1. Skincare first!

Marian is a firm believer of having a good skin base to achieve the best results. “Kailangan mong alagaan ‘yung sarili mo, like mag-moisturizer ka. Mas maganda na may skincare routine ka muna before applying your makeup,” she asserts. Good thing that the brand also carries skincare treats—but if you’re a beauty hybrid lover, Marian recommends using the Skin Trainer CC Blur. And at the end of the day, of course, don’t forget to tuck in bed with a clear face. “Make sure to remove your makeup!” the actress adds.

2. Don’t be afraid to ask how it’s done.

Before entering show business, Marian admits that her only makeup staple includes lip tints. But putting on makeup, she says, is part of the job—from then on, “Nakahiligan ko na.” And as she threads through her career, she also tries to improve her makeup skills through observing and asking her makeup artists on makeup tricks and techniques. “Kapag hindi ko alam, nagpapaturo ako,” the actress spills. “Nag-invest ako—kailangan talaga maganda ang quality ng makeup,” Marian offers.
