We Filipinos definitely live for pageants! Seeing a sea of beautiful, talented, strong women battle it out for a crown is something that ignites excitement in us, and seeing our favorites go on to compete on an international stage gets us even more fired up! Today was no different—46 amazing Filipinas fought for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 in Baguio City, proving that not even a pandemic can stop us from celebrating beauty and Filipina power!
Among 46 beautiful ladies, 16 emerged finalists, and five were crowned winners, with Iloilo City's Rabiya Mateo emerging as Miss Universe Philippines 2020!
It's no doubt that the ladies brought the house down with their beauty queen charm, personality, and designer gowns, but here, we take a closer look at the beauty trends that caught our eye among the top 16 candidates, each uniquely beautiful, every single one a proud Pinay beauty.
