And just like that, 2021's awards season comes to an end. The 93rd Academy Awards was held amidst a pandemic yet again, this time at two in-person venues: the Dolby Theater and the Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. Instead of accepting awards via Zoom, nominees and winners graced the Oscars red carpet and received their awards on an actual stage—which we totally missed seeing!
And because of these in-person setups, it meant actual red carpet appearances, which got us all excited as well. Beautiful gowns, perfect hair, and scene-stealing makeup looks took our breath away—serving much-needed inspiration amidst these times.
