Revlon Lipstick Talks #LiveBoldy: Raissa Laurel-Subijano’s Colorful Journey
Back in 2010, she was just an ordinary girl attending law school when in just one fleeting moment, a bombing occurred leaving her with amputated legs and a changed life. Today, she exemplifies a woman who lives boldly.
She didn’t let tragedy hinder her bright future. “When I lost both my legs during the bombing, I thought my life was over. But God had greater plans for me, He told me to rise up. I learned how to stand up again and to rise up amid challenges and struggles in life,” she said. She is now a councilor in the City of San Juan.
She willingly reaches out and extends help to those who are in need. “Because I experienced help from people and I was in that same position needing help and medical assistance, this is my time to help those who are in need. As a young councilor and as a PWD (person with disability), my goal is to help the youth, women, PWDs and children,” she shared.
Raissa finds that helping other people and making an impact in their lives make her feel beautiful and confident. Her colorful journey certainly begets a life equally filled with colors that make her, in her own words, “feel young, bubbly and cheerful.” In her mission to make a difference in the world, Raissa wears Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Devotion and Revlon Powder Blush in Sultry Sienna.
