The Most Gorgeous Beauty Looks To Get Inspired By At The Royal Wedding
Determining how to do your makeup when attending a wedding can sometimes be a challenge. Of course, you want to look well, really good—but you don’t want to make such a bold statement because that might just make it appear as if you’re trying to outshine the bride.
While we're all still recovering from Royal Wedding withdrawals, we turn our gaze from the bride herself to all the beautiful people in attendance, and shift our focus from their elegant ensembles to their equally enamoring beauty looks. There were a bunch of them that caught our eye, and while these surely worked to their advantage because of the dress code, there are bits and pieces we too can try to rock at the next wedding we get invited to! Check them out:
While most of us couldn't snag a ticket to the royal wedding, Meghan’s good friend Serena Williams took us behind the scenes at the most awaited wedding event of the year. She shared a post of herself on the getting ready process on Instagram Stories early in the morning before the royal wedding. Her beauty routine included indulging on a sheet mask and getting her makeup done.
As for the main event, tennis superstar Serena wore her hair in a chic long braided ponytail, and showed off some newly-shaped bold brows, a look that's so on-point these days!
We can all agree that Amal Clooney took the crown for the best dressed guest at the royal wedding! George Clooney’s wife turned heads in a marigold Stella McCartney dress and trendy Gianvito Rossi pumps. But not only did she deliver a major outfit moment, her stunningly glowy look also gave us plenty to discuss. Created by the legendary makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, Amal’s look focused on subtly shimmery eyes with rosy cheeks and a strong lip to perfectly complement her yellow dress.
Normally experimenting with a bold red lip or metallic eye shadow, it is already proven that Priyanka is definitely not afraid to take a colorful makeup risk. And for the big day of her good friend Meghan, the actress seemed to play up her strengths with a stunning orchid-purple shadow to coincide with her Vivienne Westwood lilac suit.
For this look, Priyanka called upon celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff who dipped into makeup shades in the purple pink, and mauve family—all from Chanel—to play up her striking eyes and lips with subtly blended pigments.
Meanwhile, for the royal wedding’s decadent evening reception at Frogmore house, Priyanka opted for a gold eyeshadow and pillowy nude lips to makes her Dior gown which was extremely sparkly.
