Metro.Style: When was the first time you worked with Anne?

Robbie Pinera: It started in 2008, I met her for a clothing campaign shoot for Freeway. 

 

MS: How has your friendship evolved through the years?

RP: It started when she was constantly requesting me to do her makeup, one session after the other up until this day. So basically, we were always together for long hours and days. We got to bond, talk about different things in life, dreams and passions, and I got to know her deeply not only as a celebrity but as a real person. 

 

MS: How is it like to work with her? What do you love the most about her?

RP: I love that we have kept a professional relationship through the years. It keeps me on toes to do my job well every single time. I love that she’s always willing to try something new and trendy, but still goes back to her basics. Her look is always timeless and I prefer that kind of look more than trendy ones.

 

MS: What’s your favorite look on her?

RP: Definitely old Hollywood glam, and the no makeup-makeup look. 

 

MS: How would you describe your signature look?

RP: Timeless. 

 

MS: What are your best practical makeup tips for looking good everyday?

RP: Invest on skin care, excercise, and whole healthy food. 

 

MS: What are your top 3 skincare tips?

RP: Cleanse, hydrate, and protect. 

 

MS: What are your favorite drug store buys?

RP: Maybelline and L’Oreal mascaras, Garnier micellar water, and Biore sunscreen.
