Following up on the highly successful launch event of celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan’s makeup line Teviant back in November 2018, the brand celebrated yet another milestone last Thursday in SM Megamall, as they opened their very first physical store! Congratulations are truly in order for Albert and the Teviant team!

Teviant, the brainchild of celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan, has finally fulfilled his dream of opening a physical space for his makeup line at the beauty section of the SM Megamall Department store. When you drop by for a visit, you’ll see that the first collection mainly focuses on Albert’s signature look and specialty—the bold eye look. Beautiful products for the eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows are up for grabs, and whether you're looking at experimenting with a new eyeshadow color or wanting to boost those God-given lashes, Teviant is the place to be!
The exclusive store launch drew an enviable attendance by some of our favorite celebrities, beauty bloggers, influencers and beauty queens. What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“I love bronze and brown colors. Well, I also love contouring, that’s basically my life.”
What’s your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“I love the Amore eyeshadow palette kasi I really love earth colors, corals, orange, brown, bronze, ‘dun lang ako.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“I think this year I want to try the different eyeliner colors. I remember when Albert did my makeup sa Miss Universe, I was actually using blue eyeliner. Parang naggo-glow 'yung eyes mo. There’s something in it na parang nagko-connect s’ya with your skin.”
Ariella Arida
What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“I can’t leave the house without eyeliner. Hindi ako masyado ma-foundation, especially sa normal day pero basta I have my eyeliner, okay na ako.”
What is your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“I like the Amore eye palette, ‘yung mga nude colors. Hindi ako masyado nagda-dark. I always go for light brown lang or brown or coral colors.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“For me it's more on skin and dewy looks, mas na-appreciate ko sya. There was a time na nauso 'yung mga green or blue eyeliner, pero for me, that’s something na kailangan ko pa i-absorb. Pero I can try it naman, it just takes time.”
Who is your beauty inspiration?
“I have loved Olivia Palermo ever since, kahit nung ‘di pa nauso yung mga beauty influencers. And now, Olivia Culpo also. She’s a beauty queen before pero natuwa ako kasi ang ganda lang ng transition na now na-penetrate na din niya ‘yung Hollywood at fashion world. Even though hindi s’ya ganoon katangakad she can carry herself, at kahit anong outfit bagay sa kanya. For makeup din talaga actually, I really like Meghan Markle, parang it’s all in the eyes lang, then nude lips.”

What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“Neutral and earth tones ang always bagay sa face ko kasi I’m morena. Pero sometimes I play around with colors, and when I play around with colors it’s usually royal blue.”
What is your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“My favorite are the glitter liners kasi and ganda ng mix niya and exciting ‘yung colors. Lahat nung eye makeup collections, I love.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“Last year, I was super into simple, makeup looks lang. Pero this year dapat mas palaban na tayo, dapat lumalabas na ang colors. And these days, I love that Pinays are exploring more on glitters kasi glitters really look good on morena skin. I love to see more Pinays play with more bronzers, highlighters, and glitter liners.”
Who is your beauty inspiration?
“I get inspired with myself and what I think looks good on me. And it just happens that when I do my makeup videos, the viewers appreciate it kasi i try it on myself. I like playing with my face din talaga.”

What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“I’m not super experimental so I usually go for brown shades, matte usually. But now I'm trying glitters. And now, super na-e-enjoy ko s’ya.”
What is your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“I love the Amore eyeshadow palette. But I think what struck me the most was the eyebrow pencil, yung with the four streaks, parang ang natural tingnan ng kilay mo with that.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“I told myself to be more experimental. So I feel like I'm gonna play with colors more, eyeshadow, eyeliner and coral cheek tint.”
Who is your beauty inspiration?
“I always love people who have little makeup on lang, yung parang ‘di ganun kakapal pero ang ganda tingnan. So I'm trying to achieve that.”
Kaila Estrada
What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“I love peachy tones and light brown but I'm trying to experiment to more bold colors now.”
What is your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“The liners, they’re super quick drying. And when I was trying to rub it off, it wont come off—and thats always great when it comes to eyeliners. So its clearly waterproof and smudge proof.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“I would like to add some bold colors, some bold elements in my makeup style because I feel like maximalism is coming in this year.”
Who is your beauty inspiration?
“I don’t really have one. I guess it just depends on what comes into your feed, what you feel is nice.”
Kryz Uy
What is your go-to eyeshadow look?
“I always like to go with glittery brown, that's very easy for your everyday look.”
What is your favorite from the Teviant collection?
“I really want to get my hands on Señorita because the colors are very playful but very wearable pa rin.”
How would you like to update your look this 2019?
“For 2019, I really want to be more adventurous with eyeshadow colors. In the Philippines, we’re very used to basic colors, and if we opt for colors, we usually go for the rose gold side. But I think for 2019, I really want to go for the adventurous ones, blue, green, purple. I mean, life is too short for boring makeup.”
