The basic rule of Korean makeup is to make it look simple and natural—just like the no-makeup makeup look. But still, hints of color look good while also brightening the face, and Jessy shows just that.
In the makeup tutorial, she started it off by applying Becca Beach Tint In Watermelon. “Konti lang ako maglagay kasi sobrang pale ng skin ko. Halatang halata ‘pag sobrang dami,” she said.
For this look, Jessy skipped the foundation, “‘di ako mahilig mag-foundation kapag normal everyday look, feeling ko ang kapal ng makeup ko.” Then, she applied Charlotte Tillbury Magic Away Concealer and Chifure Moisture Powder to finish her base.
The contour and highlight on her face comes courtesy of Fenty Beauty and eyebrows and eye pencil from cult-fave Japanese brand K-Palette. For her lashes, Jessy shared a technique on how she usually applies her false eyelashes. “Usually, ang ginagawa ko, hinahati ko ‘yung lashes sa gitna to create that medyo pataas na illusion.” And for the final touch, Jessy tried Peripera’s gorgeous and weightless lip tint, the Ink Airy Velvet.
