Here's How You Can Look Great For The Holidays In No Time!

Not so much into needles and knives? Consider these “lunchtime” treatments an option the next time you visit your doctor!

It’s no secret that as we age, our skin ages too. Fine lines form, wrinkles appear, skin becomes loose, and shedding off pounds becomes a challenge. There are quite a number of reasons why one might feel like their face or body needs a little rejuvenation. But with our busy schedules, no one now has the time to do it—or take the time off from recovering from the treatment. However, there are still some that might fit the bill no matter how jampacked your schedule is.

We’ve been hearing people rave about Ulthera lately, and how it’s making more patients curious (for good reason!) about this treatment. An alternative to the classic facelift, Ulthera uses ultrasound technology to reverse signs of aging—such as wrinkles, lines, and sagging skin on the face, neck, and chest—and boost the production of collagen. This, in effect, lifts and tightens the skin. The best part? This non-invasive procedure only takes around 45 minutes—with a little downtime like swelling or soreness in the area—and can be done once a year!

Similar to Ulthera, Thermage also revitalizes loose, lackluster skin on the face, neck, or body with the use of radio frequency energy. The difference between the two lies on the condition of the skin; with Thermage, it is not advisable for people with thick layers of underlying fat or loose muscles.

Thermage takes about a few minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area. It essentially transfers heat as it penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin to speed up collagen production and tighten existing collagen. This is when the magic begins, as patients feel a dramatic tightening of the skin within three to six months from the procedure. And because the outer layers of the skin are untouched, there’s minimal to zero downtime.

Embedded Protein Threads

If you need a little face lift but don’t want to go under the knife, Embedded Protein Threads are something you should consider. It still requires the help of needles but doesn’t involve incisions nor gives you pain. If you’re familiar with acupuncture, Embedded Protein Threads are somewhat similar to that, only a tiny dissolvable thread with cones is attached to that needle. These are then inserted to different parts of the face, neck, or jowls, then removed to stimulate tightening in the skin. The procedure goes on for about 20 minutes and has minimal downtime!

So, here, my left cheek is now higher/tighter than the right cheek, diba? See the difference? ??

All we ever want in this world is a chiseled, youthful-looking face—and that can be achieved without going through surgery or applying contour makeup every day. V-Contour is an injectable that treats and liquefies stubborn fats in the face and double chin. It also speeds up its natural breakdown in the lymphatic system to drain fluid out of your tissues, thus reducing swelling in the face. The procedure only takes 10 to 15 minutes of your time—you can resume back to your activities afterwards!

We get that stubborn fat in the face and body (that no exercise nor diet can get rid of) can be quite frustrating. However, if you’re still not sure of liposuction, there’s still a solution: Exilis. It is a non-surgical body-sculpting solution that uses radio frequency (RF) to heat skin and target fat cells. This procedure then speeds up the metabolic activity, causing fat cells to shrink and tightens skin altogether. With sessions that last to up to 30 minutes, with no downtime or pain, we’ll try it!
