Kapamilya actors Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz treated us to a surprise Instagram Live performance last night—and naturally, we couldn’t contain our kilig with this much-needed Popoy and Basha reunion project!

A few days back, the actors and directors Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas announced on their respective Instagram accounts that everyone can watch Bea and John Lloyd’s reunion on the same social media website sooner than expected. And finally, the wait is over!

“Over the next week, we will be performing a work of fiction on Instagram. It is a love story and it is about these times. Any resemblance to persons, living or dead, is intentional,” they said in their posts. 

Apart from their amazing acting skills as seen on the Instagram Live video, what we also love about this longtime on-screen love team is how they can express themselves freely, and how they aren’t afraid to show an inside look into their everyday lives. In the beauty department, that includes Bea's makeup-free, un-Photoshopped selfies.
