“Beautiqa came to be when we were looking for a store concept,” shares Marv Nazareno-Miranda. “As a pharmaceutical company, Vizcarra Pharmaceutical, we decided that we needed to house the brands that we carry in one store. As a company, we primarily work with doctors, who are our number-one clients. The nature of all the products that we house are that they are with clinical studies or technology that is at the forefront of the industry right now.” And so the concept was born. Beautiqa, a play on “beauty” and “botika,” is an apothecary of sorts for wellness and beauty products.

 

 

Within, one can discover brands such as Total Dermic, Boyan-I, Crescina, Fillerina, EpaPLUS, and Jyunka, as well as experience skin rejuvenation through the store’s menu of signature skin spa treatments that utilize some of its best-selling products. “Each brand and each product has different purposes. Everyone with skin problems or concerns that they want to address can come here and try out which one is good for them. The first thing that we ask is what your skin concern is, because we don’t just want you to buy. We want you to buy when you feel that we have addressed the concern,” says Miranda.

 

We got to take a tour of Beautiqa, as well as experience some of its star products firsthand, and came to find that there is quite literally something for everyone in here. A particular favorite was Total Dermic, an anti-aging skincare line from Labo Cosprophar, which contains a whopping eight hyaluronic acids in low molecular weights, guaranteeing to diminish wrinkles, lift sagging areas, and restore one’s youthful glow. For best results, combine your purchase with a few sessions from Beautiqa’s Total Dermic Oxygen Renewal facial menu, which utilizes a Trans-Dermic Application machine to allow the key ingredients of Total Dermic to go deep within the skin. Another instant favorite is a product that hails from Singapore—Jyunka M+ Fluid—that delivered almost instant results and lifted the eye area within moments. Fillerina not only has products that concentrate on fine lines and wrinkles on the face, but also on lifting the lips and the breasts. “The breast filler has the same concept as Fillerina. It has six hyaluronic acids and those hyaluronic acids trigger each level of the epidermis because of its low molecular weight. The lower the molecular weight is, the lower and deeper it can go into your skin. The clinical study behind the breast filler is after using the gel and the cream every day for two months, the results are not only lifting but volumizing, adding almost a cup size. It is the perfect treatment for firming after breastfeeding or once you reach your menopausal stage because the hyaluronic acids and the peptides lift them up.”

The next step is also to try see if we go in the direction of having one more store or build on marketing, continuing to work closely with doctors, because our main clients will always be the doctors and their patients,” reveals Miranda excitedly.
