This New Skincare Line Is Better Than Any Photo Filter!

Pores suffer from a bad rep from all the smoothing skin filters we’ve seen on social media. Benefit Cosmetics dares to keep it pore-positive with a comprehensive skincare line: PORE Care. 

It is composed of six skincare solutions and one device that simplifies a complete facial routine. PORE Care seeks to keep your pores healthy, thus, making your skin look its best. Benefit formally introduced PORE Care in the Philippines through a pajama party recently, at Vestido Manila in Makati. Guests spotted were social media personalities Marj Maroket and Kai Javier, along with celebrated makeup artists Jigs Mayuga and Raffy So, along with members of the press and certified #BeneBabes. 

Benefit’s PORE Care is the natural progression from the brand’s POREfessional line. POREfessional is the name behind Benefit’s cult favorite primers and the setting spray that is a must-have according to TikTok. 

Fans of the double cleanse method will love the Get Unblocked Pore-Clearing Makeup Cleansing Oil and the Good Cleanup Pore-Purifying Foam Cleanser. The former harnesses grape seed, jojoba seed, avocado and plum kernel oils, ceramide NP, and bisabolol. The latter combines lemon extract, yuzu extract, and bisabolol. Both leave your skin throroughly cleansed but moisturized. 

In a revolutionary move, the Tight ’n Toned Pore-Refining AHA+PHA Toning Foam eliminates the need for a cotton round. The pump releases a skin-loving cloud filled with alpha hydroxy acids, like glycolic acid and citric acid, along with polyhydroxy acid to tighten pores. You may feel a bit of a sting when you apply it, especially if you’re not used to acids. Use sparingly and don’t forget to apply sunblock in the morning!

Two masks are included in the range. The Speedy Smooth Quick Smoothing Pore Mask lives up to its name as it's sold out in some Benefit locations as of writing. Touted as a flash facial in five minutes, you will see a visible difference after one use, especially if you pair it with the All-In-One Mask Wand. The beauty tool boasts of a mask applicator on one end and a bristle side on the other that helps exfoliate the skin. 

The second PORE Care mask in is a lifesaver for those who tend to get oily. Deep Retreat Pore-Clearing Clay Mask draws out oil as it dries on your skin, thanks to mineral-rich kaolin clay. 

Smooth Sip Lightweight Smoothing Moisturizer for Pores serves as the last step in the PORE Care regimen. Think of it as a way to lock in all the good work you’ve done with the other products. Retinol users will love how the moisturizer is packed with niacinamide and squalene, to improve texture and refine the look of pores. Hydration is delivered by aloe leaf juice in the formula.
