7 Eye Patches To Try For Bright, Rested Eyes
Because we're all going to be in face masks for the unforeseeable future, might as well invest in eye area care, right?
Being quarantined at home doesn't automatically equate to glowing skin, a stellar diet, a fit body, and bright eyes. Oftentimes, it can prove to be the opposite, as sheltering in place now means working from home, home-schooling (if you have kids), managing everyone in the household, creating at-home family activities, struggling to workout, finding new hobbies, the list goes on!
Staying at home can be a challenge for a lot of us, and that prevents us from looking and feeling our best. But as we always say, a little self-care proves to be a huge help in every aspect of our being—from the emotional, physical, and mental.
While the quarantine gradually becomes a little less strict, some of us may even be required to head back to work, so that means incorporating a face mask every single time you step out of the house. With this fact comes the next realization—our eye area is the only part that's exposed, thus creating the need for us to take care of them, and yes, prettify them too! Take it from one of our favorite gals, Heart Evangelista, who recently posted on Instagram about a pair of eye patches she loves:
Caring for our eyes and eye area is important these days, and that doesn't just mean sleeping early and getting enough shuteye. Are you caring for your eyes with an eye cream? Are you avoiding any tugging movements when you apply your skincare products? Do you avoid rubbing your eyes and eye area? Do you rest your eyes after prolonged screen time? Keeping these in mind will greatly help with your eye area care, but adding a nourishing product like eye patches is also a big yes in our books!
Eye patches or eye gels are infused with nourishing, moisturizing, and brightening agents to help keep the eye are bright and youthful, and are very easy to use. I personally like packing these in my travel beauty kit, as flights tend to take a toll on my skin! Now while we're all just at home, why not include these in your self-care routine before bed?
