La Prairie Collaborates With French-Swiss Artist, Julian Charrière
Luxury skincare brand, La Prairie, has partnered with French-Swiss artist, Julian Charrière, on his latest film shot from his thrilling expeditions to the frozen landscapes of the Arctic regions and Switzerland. Inspired around the power of light, Charrière created an illuminating installation featuring this work and will be on display in the La Prairie Pavillion at the Art Basel show in Hong Kong.
“We are very pleased about working with Julian and continuing our partnership with Art Basel, which we believe is a natural fit to express La Prairie’s intrinsic link with the world of art,” said Greg Prodromides, Chief Marketing Officer of La Prairie Group. Based on this work, La Prairie launched the new White Caviar Crème Extraordinaire, a moisturizing cream infused with illuminating molecules.“In developing White Caviar Crème Extraordinaire, the scientists at La Prairie screened 50,000 ingredients to find the single most powerful illuminating active, Lumidose. This extraordinary power inspired us to merge La Prairie’s science of light with the art of light, through the patronage of Julian’s magnificent work,” he added.
As part of La Prairie’s continuing partnership with Art Basel, Charrière’s film will first be unveiled in Hong Kong this March.
