Available at their newest Makati branch, Emface combines Radio Frequency (RF) and High-Intensity Facial Electromagnetic Stimulation (HIFES). The result is a sharper jawline, pronounced cheekbones, and supple skin. <strong>Dr. Thea Villegas</strong> of Le Meur Aesthetics says, “Emface penetrates heat through your skin layers to stimulate collagen, and then the contractions that come from the pad stimulate your elevator muscles in your face. The elevator muscles are those that pull your face up. Emface is virtually painless. The effects are instant, though. After my first session of Exion, I met some friends immediately. They complimented how fresh I looked without prompting or fishing.</p><div><br/></div><p>Exion works through a wand that is repeatedly massaged over your face. Done in sections ( cheeks, temples, jawline), it can take a little bit longer depending on your tolerance. I would describe the experience like having warm tingling sensation permeating through your skin. Some sections of your face will be a bit more sensitive, but your Le Meur aesthetician will have the best touch and be mindful of your requests. </p><div><br/></div><p>Exion may be done for the face and tummy. “Aside from skin tightening, it also stimulates collagen and elastin. It makes the skin more taut, and in that way, it helps control the sagging.
