Dr. Gaile Robredo-Vitas, MD., who is a dermatologist, explained that this new trend is backed up by the many brands and companies that are releasing skincare products into the market. She also shared that she has experienced the trend firsthand, as she has had patients who wanted to consult with her merely for guidance on creating a skincare routine. Dr. Robredo-Vitas added: “Another thing is that many come to enhance their features, rather than wanting to look like someone else, my patients want to look and be the best version of themselves.”


The general manager of Merz Aesthetics® in the Philippines, Jorge Libanan, reiterated that the campaign hopes for more Filipinos to further discover how aesthetics and skincare technology can help them grow confidence in their own skin. He shared that in order to achieve this goal, they partnered up with the top aesthetic doctors to engage in this discourse and share trusted treatments that are geared towards the enhancement, and not the change, of one’s beauty.
