International Makeup Artist Chechel Joson Gave Us Her Top Well-Aging Tips

She also taught us how to make Pili Ani's newest product, the Cleansing Butter, work to our advantage!

<p>We all want to stay youthful. The quest for the fountain of youth is one that&#x27;s seemingly never ending. While we make these efforts to stay as young-looking as possible, we also have to embrace the reality that age is a gift, and no matter how gravity does its job on our bodies, we have to learn how to accept that gracefully—by means of taking care of ourselves and practicing holistic wellbeing. One such epitome of graceful ageing is <strong>Chechel Joson</strong>, an international makeup artist who has had years of experience in the local and international makeup industry. </p><div><br/></div><p>Chechel has done work for some of the most well-loved glossy magazine covers, billboards, advertisements, TV shows, and more. She has done the faces of stars like Chris Hemsworth, Jennie Garth, Hugh Grant, Sam Smith, and Tia Carrere. Meeting Chechel in person was a breath of fresh air. Hers is an aura and a vibe that exudes lightness of being, so absolutely had to ask her for her top tips and well-aging secrets. </p><p><br/>First off, during the program, she took us through each of the Pili Ani products that make up a good skincare routine—first was the newest <strong>Cleansing Butter + Cleansing Oil with Pili and Elemi Oil</strong>, which is an all-natural makeup remover that absolutely disolves all dirt and grime after a long day. The Cleansing Oil was made for stubborn eye makeup like eyeliner and mascara—it does the job quite well, we must say! Once you embody it and commit to it—it shows. When we asked Chechel the personal wellness practices she lives by, she was quick to say, &#x27;Try to avoid stress as much as you can. I meditate, I do yoga every day, I spend time with friends. We play pickle ball together. We eat after pickle ball. Eat as much antioxidants as you can. She goes on to share, &#x27;So if you always have a papaya in your life, in your diet as your staple food, sure you can have pizza once in a while, but don&#x27;t have it every day, you know what I mean? So have your staple good food for whatever diet you want to do.&#x27;</p><div><br/></div><p>Chechel also gave us tips on picking the right plant milk—picking the ones that are high in protein such as soy or almond. She tells us that it&#x27;s all about what one&#x27;s goal is. To be leaner? I don&#x27;t like the word aging. I always like to say, &#x27;make your look as youthful and as fresh as you can. If you don&#x27;t know how to put eyeliner, don&#x27;t put eyeliner. If you only know how to put blush, then use the blush. You know what I mean? So if you don&#x27;t know how to do the smoky eye...
