Wells Fargo: A Greater Community Of Women For Women
Recently, The Women’s Team Member Network (WTMN) of Wells Fargo Enterprise Global Services, LLC – Philippines was granted the very special honor of being named the official international chapter of Wells Fargo.
As a formal partner, WTMN Philippines now belongs to the wider network of Wells Fargo and is able to learn and share its stories and best practices with other chapters. This opportunity gives women greater access to information and resources, as well as helps foster a stronger sense of community.

But the support given by the network is not limited to just the women professionals working within the company, Wells Fargo opens its doors and seeks to support ALL women in all industries.
WTMN is able to do this through its numerous initiatives such as donation drives, seminars and workshops, and most especially its financial literacy training program, called Hands on Banking Philippines, which aims to empower women.
Hands on Banking is a volunteer program wherein Wells Fargo team members educate women on financial management and success. Recently, WTMN headed to The Haven for Women, a foundation that offers temporary shelter and provides rehabilitation and protective custody to young girls and women, former victims of sexual crimes, domestic abuse and the like.

Helen Molina, a social worker of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and house parent at The Haven shares the importance of programs such as Hands on Banking: “At the Center, these women have help; they don’t need to think about bills. But when they leave the Center, they will be made responsible for everything.
“Aside from charitable donations, through these volunteer efforts of Wells Fargo EGS Philippines, the women learn the value of money and how to be financially stable. (These lessons) they can apply once they’ve gotten back on their feet.”
