<p><strong>Baihana</strong> joins a stellar roster of stars for the third chapter of <strong>National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab’s acclaimed MaestroClass Concert Series</strong>. Along with <a href="https://metro.style/culture/2026/4/30/metro-talks-jett-pangan-joins-ryan-cayabyab-for-maestroclass-what-s-it-all-about-0800" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Jett Pangan</a>, <a href="https://metro.style/culture/2026/5/4/sofronio-joins-ryan-cayabyab-for-maestroclass-what-s-it-all-about-0800" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sofronio Vasquez</a>, <a href="https://metro.style/culture/2026/5/11/metro-talks-bituin-escalante-joins-ryan-cayabyab-for-maestroclass-what-s-it-all-about-1300">Bituin Escalante</a>, and <a href="https://metro.style/culture/2026/4/24/metro-talks-gigi-de-lana-joins-ryan-cayabyab-for-burt-bacharach-s-maestroclass-1800" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Gigi de Lana</a>; the group will join Mr C. on May 15 to 17, 2026 in celebrating the timeless genius of Burt Bacharach with <strong><em>What’s It All About?</em></strong></p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1778756258501Metro.Style Baihana.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner">Mel Torre, Krina Cayabyab, and Anna Graham of Baihana</span></span></span> The jazz trio Baihana is known for reimagining standards and OPM hits with refreshing vocal harmonies.The group was formed in 2008, and the current members include <strong>Anna Graham</strong>, <strong>Mel Torre</strong>, and <strong>Krina Cayabyab</strong>—yes, the daughter of Mr. C himself!</div><p>Performing with Mr. C is very close to their hearts, as he has been part of their history as a group. Mr. C once created an arrangement of “<em>Mamang Kutsero</em>” for them, and while this song was already in their repertoire, their initial rendition was “very, very simple and chill.” </p><p>However, when Krina, Mr C’s daughter, sent them the arrangement, they were surprised.</p><p>“Yeah, it was quite complicated. It was not chill. It was not chill at all. So a lot of bebop and scatting parts there, and it was mostly spontaneous, but at the same time, it was just all fun,” says the group. </p><p>“That&#x27;s what&#x27;s always nice, working with Mr. C. You&#x27;ll never know what will happen or what he&#x27;s going to ask you to do, but it always turns out brilliant, so we&#x27;re very excited for this project,” they replied. </p><p>As for Krina working with her dad, she is very excited. </p><p>“It is an honor. I mean, personally, working with my dad, it&#x27;s a rare opportunity also for me to be working with my dad. And apart from it being an honor, it&#x27;s a special moment for me as his daughter,” says Krina. </p><p>“And for us, we&#x27;re just along for the magic. I think, of course, Mr. C being a National Artist, it&#x27;s always a huge honor. We admire these artists a lot. Through stories, musical demonstrations, and live arrangements, he guides audiences through the artistry and structure behind songs that shaped generations.</p><p>Presented by <strong>Rockwell</strong>, this third chapter celebrates the legendary songbook of Burt Bacharach, the American hitmaker whose sophisticated pop melodies and distinctive compositions produced dozens of global classics and influenced generations of composers worldwide.</p><p>For this special three-night engagement, Cayabyab brings together an exciting lineup of powerhouse Filipino vocalists, Jett Pangan, Bituin Escalante, Gigi De Lana, and Sofronio Vasquez, joined by the dynamic vocal group Baihana, promising an evening of rich harmonies, storytelling, and powerful interpretations under the stage direction of Rowell Santiago.  </p><p>Together, they will bring to life some of Bacharach classics including “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “The Look of Love,” “Close to You,” and “Walk On By”—timeless songs known for their lush arrangement and intricate rhythms.</p><p>Set within the intimate 776-seat Proscenium Theater, the experience is elevated by the venue’s natural acoustics—the first of its kind in the Philippines—and its Steinway &amp; Sons grand piano, providing the perfect stage for Cayabyab to explore Bacharach’s music.</p><div><br/></div><div><em>Tickets for What’s It All About? — Celebrating the Music of Burt Bacharach are available via TicketWorld (online and outlets) and at the Power Plant Mall Cinema.
