Here's what we know so far and when you can expect performances to start!
Have you heard the news? Crash Landing on You will be returning in the form of a musical!
According to Naver and Soompi, today, March 29, production company Pop Music revealed that tvN’s Crash Landing on You will be adapted into a musical and will be putting on the show by 2022.
Its story of star-crossed lovers Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) and Captain Ri Jeong Hyuk (Hyun Bin) needs little introduction (unless you've been living under a rock, that is), and was an unforgettable story about love and fate. The series finale set an impressive new record for the highest viewership ratings in tvN history, scoring an average rating of 21.7 percent and a peak rating of 24.1 percent in South Korea. The drama, which was made available in the Philippines on Netflix, was an undeniable global sensation, earning it fans all over the world.
According to sources from Pop Music and T2N Media, the production companies have just completed signing global publication rights with Studio Dragon. The official plans for the music are to carry out performances starting in Seoul mid-2022.
