GUESS Auctions Local Artists' Custom-Design Jean Jackets For A Cause

It was a weekend of celebrating fashion and art as GUESS Philippines showcased local artistry through the brand's The Art of Guess event, a unique interactive exhibit held at Whitespace Manila. Inviting homegrown talents to custom-design GUESS' iconic jean jackets, their works were put on display and auctioned off, with all proceeds going to their partner organization, World Vision.

Participating in this fashion movement are mainstays and up-and-coming graphic designers, illustrators, and mural artists—included in the roster are Anna Bautista, Anina Rubio, Alessandra Lanot, Jessica Yang, Monica Magsanoc, Steph Alvarez, Kara Pangilinan, Lee Caces, Soleil Ignacio, and Raxenne Maniquiz. Take a look at their very own jean jacket designs:

Apart from the jean jacket display, GUESS revealed their new summer line, also on display, as well as murals by artists Archie Oclos, Dee Jae Paeste, and BITTO in which they featured pop culture icons. There was also a DIY Denim Workshop station, screening of the exclusively-produced GUESS fashion film directed by John Lozano, and music performances by today's rising local acts like Oh, Flamingo, She's Only Sixteen, and Keiko Necesario.
