<p>The art section of <strong>The Well-Appointed Life</strong> reflects a more global perspective, evident in the lots on offer by several major Japanese artists such as <strong>Yayoi Kusama</strong>, <strong>Yoshitomo Nara</strong> and <strong>Tsuguharu Fujita</strong>, and two lots by one of  China’s most esteemed painters <strong>Xia Jing Shan</strong> displayed side by side with the works of Philippine old masters such as <strong>Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo </strong>and <strong>Felix Martinez</strong>,  <strong>National Artists Fernando Amorsolo, Victorio Edades, HR Ocampo, Vicente Manansala, Arturo Luz, Cesar Legaspi, </strong>and <strong>Federico Aguilar Alcuaz</strong>, and contemporary stalwarts <strong>Rodel Tapaya, Jigger Cruz, and Ronald Ventura</strong>. </p><div><br/></div><p>Just as stunning is the antique furniture and artifacts line-up, boasting of pieces that rarely come to auction,  like the Batangas Dos altar table, a ‘Lion Mask’ refectory table, and a towering pair of Maranao gadurs, to name just a few. </p><div><br/></div><p>One room within Salcedo Auctions’ gallery literally adds sparkle to the entire lot on show, filled with fine jewelry and watches alongside two highly collectible spirits - arguably statements of luxury and style.
