You Can Now Buy Tickets To CCP Events Through Their New App

When I was in college, I was at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino every weekend for all of October 2015. My favorite stage actress was doing a play, and students get a 50% discount for shows at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, so it seemed like the logical thing to do. I didn’t have a credit card back then though (not that I do now), so I couldn’t buy tickets from the TicketWorld website directly. Thus, every week, not only was I at the CCP Complex, I was also at my nearest TicketWorld branch—Cubao—buying tickets. It was quite the hassle. 

That’s no longer the case anymore, as the center launched an app that would enable patrons to buy tickets to CCP’s shows and events—Tanghalang Pilipino, Ballet Philippines, Cinemalaya, and more—via their new app. Audiences can choose from a variety of payment methods: credit or debit card, GCash, 7-11, Paypal, and more. After payment, tickets can be viewed on the app itself or in the customer’s email. 

Currently, Cinemalaya tickets, including all-access passes, are available on the app.

The Cultural Center Philippines app is available for a free download on the App Store and Google Play.
