Here’s more exciting news, coach potatoes! It’s true—we all love spending our downtime getting our streaming fix. Southeast Asia’s leading entertainment service iflix knows this well, and so this year, they’re taking a big leap and joining forces with Viva Communications, Inc.!

During the launch event last July 12 at Common Ground, iflix Co-Founders, Chariman Patrick Grove, and Group CEO Mark Britt, as well as Viva Communications' Chairman Vincent del Rosario, and COO and President Vincent del Rosario, were all present to announce this new partnership, revealing the surprise lineup of content that’s in store for iflix patrons. Some of the hottest stars were also present for the party, like Matteo Guidicelli, Marco Gumabao, Sarah Lahbati, and Janno Gibbs.

So yes, films like Kita Kita and Meet Me in St. Gallen are on iflix for the long haul, as well as other content from local favorite celebrities like Sarah Geronimo and Anne Curtis. Soon, Viva’s extensive libraries of film classics, modern indie pieces, live concerts, and series will also be available for your viewing pleasure.

This partnership will also produce a series of collaborative efforts—with the goal of completing 30 films and 9 series over the next three years. It also aims to bring Filipino talent to international shores, specifically projects in Indonesia and Malaysia.
